We had a bad experience with a moving company and the BBB helped us reach a resolution with them. I am appreciative that they reached out to the company and got them to respond to our complaint. The company was reluctant to discuss the issue with us but the BBB representative persisted. After 3+ back and forth messages the company called me and offered a resolution. The BBB website was a little finicky at times but overall a good experience.

I had a problem receiving a refund from an online business that was located near this BBB office and they helped me out significantly. I was getting nowhere with the specific company but once I reached out the BBB, I received an immediate response from the company. I would stress to anyone that is have an issue to contact the BBB to see if they can help you! Very thankful for the BBB!!

You will need some basic info about the location of the business so we connect the complaint to the right company. Hello Debbie, very sorry to hear about the situation you are experiencing with your grandson. As a first step, you may want to call the business on behalf of your grandson to see if the matter can be worked out directly and quickly. If that does not work, while many states have state agencies to assist with these issues, Florida does not. Under the Florida Minimum Wage Act, employees have the right to sue their employers for unpaid earnings. Before filing suit, the employee must file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Labor for violation of the federal labor laws. Once that complaint is filed, the employee can then file legal action. You may also want to consult with an attorney if these steps do not work. I hope this information assists you. Hello Maggie, the owner of your building should have insurance on the property. You should ask the landlord for a copy to know what coverage exists on the property. Some renters will add rental insurance to cover theft of property, but that is a different kind of insurance and for a different purpose.

I had Promag Energy Group install a brand new AC July 2015. They have repaired the AC at least 9 times. A new coil was just replaced on 5/8/19 and now it's not working again. What should I do?

I suggest you gather the information (a chronology of your experience along with any supporting documentation---warranty and work orders) and contact the owner/head customer service representative for Promag Energy Group. Ask them for assistance and a recommendation to provide a solution to the problematic AC situation you have been trying to resolve with them. It is also a good idea to contact the manufacturer/warrantor of your unit. I don't know if you are still under warranty, but they may also be able to step up and provide a better solution. If working with the installer and/or manufacturer does not provide a good solution, you can file a complaint with BBB on the BBB site. https://www.bbb.org/consumer-complaints/file-a-complaint/get-started I hope you are able to find a solution that provides reliable AC to you. You may want to call the BBB in Orlando at (407) 621-3300. I apologize that I am not able to provide more information, but it is important to check out a business thoroughly when buying a pet. Make sure you get the kittens before you transact the funds.

The age of your AC unit, warranty, etc. will have an impact on the likelihood of assistance, but it is always worth a try to submit your complaint using the BBB complaint tool.
