We just passed through inquiring about availabilities to dump our RV while returning south. Warm friendly host. Two sites were open, take your pick, and no charge! Really? It may have been a different story if all sites were filled. It looked to be 90 percent full.

Terrible dirty campground. The bathroom smells moldy, not heated and very dirty. Showers didn’t provide hot water. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough

This is a very nice little park! I like to camp and this place would be a good place to spend a couple of days. A little traffic noise but not obnoxious. Fast food and convenience store close by. Park is very pleasant with grassy sites and easy pull thrus. Neighbors are close but this is an RV park. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

We lived at Happy Time park from Jan-Dec 2020, and we would not recommend it. While it would be perfectly adequate for a short stay, our extended stay had too many major inconveniences. There was a change in management part way through our stay that marked the start of the decline. Some of our issues are minor/forgivable, such as inconsistent trash pick up days, people not picking up their dog's poop, or only having 3 washer dryer units. Add that to the disrepair of the laundry machines leaving one or more machines out of order for weeks or months at a time. Add that to the short office hours (officially 2-6) that we're not kept by the office staff. I had to start calling the office to make sure someone was there before walking over to pay rent or get quarters for laundry or get packages. Some days I would still be making calls to the office past 4 before someone finally showed up. Add that to the fact that my neighbors' dog died as a result of an attack by another resident's dog. While the residents and maintenance staff were pleasant and friendly, we were happy to finally move on from this place. Hopefully on to a more dependable establishment.
