I tried to send a wire for a service for my child in another country and the teller said it sounded fishy, and said there'd be a $35 wire fee. Then the branch manager told me it was not possible, of course lying. I sent the wire for a $5 fee from the website, should not have even bothered going into the bank. I felt disrespected and poorly treated.

An amazingly dysfunctional bank. I am impressed at the complex specifics of how they cashed my checks, lost them, restricted my account, closed the Arcata branch, stopped servicing the ATM, and stopped taking phone calls. Chase Bank literally closed shop and left town with my money.
