The nail tech was rude, she kept yanking my hands and my nails ended up being two different lengths. Even with all the yanking. The price is reasonable but the level of perfection is horrible. Especially considering the fact that this is a nail salon that has been around for so long. GO ELSEWHERE if you are interested in great prices, great customer service AND quality work. UPDATE: I went back today because my friend told me to see a specific nail tech and she and I made it a date. At first, it was ok. Then there was another patron having an issue and a comment was made to, " ignore them?" The patron was alone...so who is them? Could've been her lack of translation. I told the nail tech that I would be back to see him and he said that, "you can't come back for me. Short nails don't have a preference." I told him ok but that I liked his work. He went on to say that all the techs are the same. I didn't agree nor disagree. Then I told him that #476 looked darker (it looked red) than the way it appeared on the glued nail board. He got loud and told me, "what do you want me to do?" At this point, I knew that it would be me that would have to be the more composed of the two and I kept in mind that not only is he doing a service but that he didn't deserve to be talked to ...LIKE I COULD HAVE!" So then he started talking louder in his native language. I told the receptionist to please assign someone else to polish my nails because I wasn't going to sit with this nail tech not even for another second. There was a woman that works there...I think I heard someone call her "Monique" but I could be wrong. She spoke English very well and broke away from talking about the club (bar) long enough to say that that it was too early for that type of vibe. I have learned that composure can keep you from associating an inmate number with your name. The vibe was horrible once again and the sad part is that I went through the door hoping to put the prior bad experience behind me. Not so though and I have learned my lesson. Go elsewhere and don't doubt myself when I know better. Deuces.

Going to Dk nails was definitely quicker than going through the drive through for food. This was my first time and "last time". I went to get a pedicure & full set of short acrylic nails. The person who did my nails also did my pedicure. The nails were short and nicely shaped, I was sent to the bathroom to wash my hands with water only, which was before my nails were polished I was not given any brush with which to clean the nails like I was used to also noticed that the toilet had broken taped acrossed it. They claimed they used a gel polish which I did not ask for, so ofcourse I was charged the price for a gel polish set. Ok fine, I paid for it. Next was the pedicure, As soon as I sat down my toes were cleaned off with tools that were sprayed with something, have no idea what it was, then came the water down, thinly stretched cuticle remover I've never seen that before. I blinked and my feet were done and wiped off with a towel that came from the person's pocket. This was definitely my most unsanitary nails service I have ever had done. They cared more about getting the money from all the people that were in there, than making sure that each customer, when it was their turn, had a good, clean experience. I too also believe that they make the prices up. I will never go back and definitely do not reccommend going there. Definitely not value for money and yet they clearly make so much money. I work too hard for my money and I deserve quality but they are focused on quantity. So they try to hurry up to get you in and out. Service was bad. Quality of work was bad as a result of that.
