Nice place to walk and have fun

The park is pretty. The bathrooms were locked during the day on the holiday weekend. I wasn't in the camping area so I couldn't report on that. There's a pretty lake, kids playground and lots of picnic areas. There are signs for no swimming because of alligators.

"Pets are welcome only in the RV sites. No pets are allowed in the tent camping areas." From website.
For tents 7days every 30 days and not sure on the rv area but i believe 5months if not mistaking..and 10dollar cash deposit you get back and about 17 dollars a night for tents...not sure on rv side but reasonablei remember
I really do not know, but I would not go anywhere with water in that area ... 🐊🐊🚫
Hello Natalia. Please contact us directly at (305) 232-1049 for availability. Thank you for your interest.
Yes, Catch and release.
The lake would be perfect for baptisims!! I would definitely make reservations for a pavilion. And I think it would be just wonderful!
They don't open the office on the weekends, if you're going to pull in you can just pull in in the security guard will give you an overnight site and place you on a different site in the morning.
Larry and penny is a recreational park trails you can walk lake u can swim in with slides you can paRk rv and also throw some mean awsome partys
I happen to know that dogs are definitely NOT allowed on the public side of the park at any time and it's even posted that there are no dogs allowed. However, I have seen people breaking the rules on the public side of park with their dogs. There are security guards that come through at times and they may ask you to leave. If you are a paid camper, on the campground side of the park you can have your dogs, but you must keep them on that side of the park. If you really want to walk your dog in the park, that would be the side to do it on, but again, you may be asked to leave if they recognize that you are not a camper. This info is 100% accurate.
Most likely they are full, but call them as cancellations come up.
No, but you are located right next to the Miami Zoo.
Not sure swimming is prohibited
It is year round. It Is only pet friendly on the camp ground side, not the park side.
Don't really know but I do think the pool was closed.
Best advice is to call park office between 8 a.m. and 330 p.m.
The rv sites are year round and they do have space for mid sized and large RV's. Not sure about Wifi but Everglades Resort sounds like a good fit for you just down the road.
No matter
You should do a reservation, call them asap and verify, it is a great place, that means it will get busy.
Check in is between 9a.m.-5p.m. and check out is at 11a.m.
No
Yes you can!! For up to 7 days
From where?, It's.a way but it takes a while
According to the website, the beach is open "seasonally". Calling the park directly would be your best option for this type of inquiry.
You can stay for a maximum of six months. Call the park directly or see their website for rates.
Dogs are okay but no tents to rent.
The beach area is only open during the Summer. Not sure when exactly os the open date. Check the park website.
Yes, free admission just drive around, park your car, walk and enjoy the views
They do in the RV section, every campground for tenting has limits on stays due to space. No tents in RV areas. I'm not sure about the RV rates for this park...but I do know Everglades Resort is just over $3k for the year, and offers a lot more amenities.
Dogs are allowed but subject to rules such as being kept on a six foot leash at all times, much like State park rules.
I have no idea, but you can find out on Google, I was there as a guest at a party and I did not have to pay anything
2 and 4
The cost of pitching a tent per night is $16 and there is a $12 deposit which is returned when you check out. The place had warm showers which are very clean and well maintained. There are water fountains. You have electric points near the office and common places such as the rest room and laundry. No power access near camping sites. Hope that helps.
I dont work in park services ... Look up their number and give them a call Hope you get the dates you're looking for
They have storage behind where the campers are. I had seen campers semi's and some autos. Price wise you would have to call them to find out. It's a big storage lot. They have some also that have a gate in a a small area with lock and other part all open.
Yea u can get away with it but the ppl staying the nihht have to have an id and min of 7 days and pets are
Its free
Its supposed to be open only friday and saturday 11am-6pm for a limited time during the summer. Aswell as the beach. Haven't been there while its open though.
30-45 minutes with no traffic , with traffic 1.5 hours more less it all depends on the time you leave the park .
Yes you can, athough they have a curfew on fires. Also they have a public bonfire pit with benches by the tents.
The trails are mostly asphalt so they work for both
There are grills there but I believe you can bring your own. We did.
I would say yes. It doesn't ever appear full.
To can tent camp for 7 days every 30 days😀 and it's about 17 dollars a night
It becomes a trailer park with permanent residents. I believe it was a donation from a couple, Larry and Penny Thompson, with condition it be used as a park.
We have 40 foot 5th wheel and truck. Still had front space.
You will find several dirt and/or grass trails for running here. The are several cross country school teams that train here during season. Hope you enjoy them!
Just left there would be glad to answer any questions. But can't see what your question is.
You cannot just show up without a reservation as you run the risk of bit having a space. Call them in advance and try to make a reservation to learn about availability and check if you can just park your SUV and stay in it.
I could see some 1 or 2 lb fish swimming in the shallows ... the water was clear, but I was too far away to tell what kind of fish they were ... maybe bass.
Not as bad as we feared. Mostly lost the fence, damage to trees and plants and my roof lost a couple of tiles. I also have a leak in one room.
