Susan Albertini has helped me so much with joint stiffness. Receiving this type of therapy has been a total gamechanger for me! Great staff, great place--I highly recommend!

I am a Founder's Institute Graduate. And Dr. Chad Franz, DO was referred to me by my orthopedic doctor to treat a slipped rib a couple of months before I began the challenging life of an entrepreneur in an accelerator. In total the Founder's Institute was for 3 months, and I managed to attend in the evenings after my 9-5 and while also attending therapy for PTSD. I will say without a shadow of a doubt that the treatments I received from Dr. Chad Franz, DO completely made it possible for me to complete the Founder's Institute. I entered his office with a consistent pain level of 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest). And I am now at maybe a 2 usually - AND SOMETIMES 100% PAIN FREE!!!! Not only to I recommend him for the manipulation treatment, but I recommend him to give you an accurate diagnosis. He is a character, no doubt, and I love it! Highly recommend to all my fellow entrepreneurs and triathletes who are looking for a more enjoyable and less painful life!

My family and me have been long time patients of Dr. Chad Frank. We have been blessed to find him. He has always treated us with the utmost professionalism. He is extremely knowledgeable, competent and sincere. He is a Dr. who has great compassion for his patients, which is hard to find. His staff is also a great asset to his practice, which is so vital. I would recommend this practice to anyone!! Thank you Dr. Frank and staff for your amazing care over the years.

Questions & Answers

Is Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) like a Chiropractic Adjustment?

In many ways, OMT can resemble chiropractic adjustments but there are many differences which distinguish OMT from any other manipulative treatments. There are a myriad of Osteopathic Techniques specific to the Osteopathic Philosophy which include: counterstrain, muscle energy, myofascial release and high velocity/low amplitude techniques along with facilitated positional release, Still’s technique, Johnson’s technique, balanced ligamentous tension techniques (BLT), articulatory techniques and craniosacral treatments.

Is an Osteopathic Physician like a Chiropractor?

No. A Chiropractor is a musculoskeletal health care provider who does not possess the full scope of medical practice rights as do DOs and MDs. DOs are physicians with full scope of practice rights, i.e. the ability to prescribe medicine and perform surgery.

What is the difference between a DO and an MD?

DOs are Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine and MDs are Doctors of Allopathic Medicine. DOs and MDs are alike in many ways in that both DOs and MDs complete four years of medical education followed by three to eight years post graduate training in internships, residencies and fellowships. Both DOs and MDs can choose to practice medicine in any specialty and must pass comparable examinations to obtain state licenses. DOs are complete physicians, fully trained and licensed to prescribe medicine and to perform surgery. Osteopathic physicians also utilize Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) by using their hands to diagnose and treat illness. By combining medical options with OMT, DOs offer their patients the most comprehensive care available in medicine
