i bought a nice gun there and a ton of ammo and they gave me a handgun haven reusable shopping bag that i now use for hikes and the sort i looked at more than 3 different places and handgun haven had the best price for the gun that i wanted, though i am sad they only had 5 magazines in stock at the time

Purchased a 1911 for EDC. Went in several different times and they were more than willing to show me multiple brands and styles until I narrowed it down to a Kimber Super Carry Ultra+. Way too many to choose from and awesome customer service and the price was excellent as well.

Yes, we do walk ins during regular business hours. Be advised that you cannot send someone else to acquire a firearm on your behalf (ammunition and accessories are okay).
Thanks for the message! Currently we are transitioning management, and are therefore open Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM, and open by appointment from Monday to Thursday. I am usually here on Tuesday through Thursday anyways and I take walk-ins while I am here (I leave the open sign lit while I'm here, too). We hope to have more regular hours soon! Unfortunately, we do not have a range. Local Ranges in the area include: Lee Kay Public Shooting Range 6000 2100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84128 This is a good outdoor range, with low prices, but they have odd hours. Discount Guns & Ammo 2140 S 1260 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84119 Inexpensive indoor range, but not the best lighting. The lanes are also not the widest, but it is a functional range, and it won't cost you much. If you are willing to travel just a few more minutes, there is also: TNT Guns & Range 5669 Commerce Dr, Murray, UT 84107 This is probably the best indoor range in the state, but it will also cost a bit more. Indoor trap/skeet shooting, wide pistol range lanes, and 100 yard indoor rifle lanes. We hope this helps!
