edit: im giving them a worse rating because the times I've returned I've had bad experiences, It seems like some people that work there dont all follow consistent recipes. Im not alone many reviews have unsatisfied customers that returned because its not consistently good. I had some bbq that was extremely disappointing compared to what i initially had! It was cold and had no smoke flavor at all compared to when i had it before literally tasted like smoke. I bought an entire pound of it and did not even eat half I was so disappointed. Not a single bite of it tasted bbq'd. How? really hope you can fix this place into shape it could be really good!! original post: I got a bbq turkey sandwich all the way and a crack n cheese!! This place is an Eastern style Turkey BBQ place, brilliant!!! The turkey bits in the bbq makes it feel similar to eating whole hog style, I just wish this place had an eastern style vinegar sauce, as their house sauce is more close to western like a lexington dip that's very sweet with more ketchup. From reading the reviews, I see a lot of people gave them a one star for having vinegar taste, but it's supposed to taste like that, Eastern style uses a vinegar base sauce that unsurprisingly tastes just like vinegar. I would love it if you had your vinegar sauce for sale as well! I love carolina style bbq, lexington, eastern, southern, kc, memphis, texas, and this turkey bbq is seriously good i hope to see more turkey bbq spots in the carolinas, I'd love to try this turkey bbq with a vinegar or a mustard sauce, or even a traditional lexington dip, but using their own sauce gives it a real extra sweetness paired with the slaw, SWEET AND SMOKY! I got some bbq sauce too it was very peppery and like a lexington dip with more ketchup and sweeter, the slaw is also sugary and uses the green leaves too, similar to kfc style, and turkey bbq had an amazing smoke flavor! The crack n cheese had mac and cheese that tastes like garlic butter , topped with smokey turkey bbq and crunchy cracklins with sweet sauce on them. WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN! I thought I was paying a lot for my food, but I definitely love my purchase it's some of the best bbq i've had in the carolinas! You think your bbq shack is good? Try this place! I can't vouch for the inconsistency in reviews, but I can say that my experience so far has been excellent and I'm coming back again.

I had been talking to my wife about going here for over a year an decided to this weekend and it was the worst food mistake of my life. Food was straight trash turkey leg tasted like it was old an spoiled. It was almost like they reheated food they cooked a few days ago. It was really small an the meat was grey. The Crack an cheese tasted horrible. Greens was terrible an bland. The turkey bbq on top of the Mac an cheese had a good smoke flavor but was still not great. I will never eat there again.

Fried chicken was a little burnt and had no seasoning taste. Crack n cheese was ok nothing like it used to be. BBQ sauce seems very watered down with vinegar so it ruined the whole Mac and cheese taste. It’s like they used Sazon to make the yellow color cause I sure can’t taste any cheese.

I usually eat here when I come in town to visit and I ordered my food and lemonade. I tasted the lemonade and realize that it was spoil and I came back to return the lemonade and the cashier(Michelle) was very rude because I told her about the lemonade. She went to the back and was rolling her eyes because I asked for my money back, so I told her to just give something else like a peach cooler. She need to work on her customer service skills. They were nicer people when I came the last time. Unbelievable....
