This is my review from BBB but I'm leaving it on Google as well: If I could give the Loan Lawyers team 1000 stars I would. If you're someone who like to nitpick for bad reviews, please do not do this with Loan Lawyers. They are truly best in their class in the work they do. To summarize my situation, I was sued by a very litigious and notoriously scummy creditor for a sizable amount of money. As this was the first time I've ever been sued, I was incredibly nervous and expecting the worst. The thing is, these creditors hope that you stick your head in the sand and do nothing because then they're awarded the default judgement which is the full debt + court costs and fees. Then, with a judgement, they could garnish your wages and go after your money with a vengeance. I opted to fight back and I chose Loan Lawyers as my counsel. I received tons of mailers of lawyers who said they'd settle or mediate my case to get maybe 60% of the debt negotiated down or help me file for bankruptcy, but Loan Lawyers was the only law office I spoke to who said they'd go on the offensive and get my case completely dismissed for a very reasonable fee. They cited the hundreds of other cases where they've achieved this outcome and I decided to bite the bullet and retain them after checking their reviews and being swayed by their confidence in the result. This is one of those times where what was advertised wasn't too good to be true and they delivered on their promise. My case was completely dismissed with prejudice and the debt gone for good. This was my largest personal debt and for a legal fee a 10th of the amount of my debt, I had it completely erased. In that respect, this lawsuit actually turned out to be a blessing and I'm so incredibly grateful for Loan Lawyers in producing this result for me.

Great service. Loan Lawyers really marks the difference and help consumers with abusive debt collectors acting with bad faith. Loan lawyers and Attorney Bavaro are incredible, the process is simple and fast. I will recommend them 100000%.

In most cases, a person can still obtain credit after filing bankruptcy. In fact, many people receive pre-approved credit applications shortly after their debt is discharged. However, you should know that you may have to pay higher interest rates. If you want to improve your credit without taking on higher interest, a secured credit card can help you get your credit score back in good standing.
Simply being in debt is not reason enough to file bankruptcy. If you have a good income, or very little debt, and do not have trouble paying it off, bankruptcy is probably not the wisest choice. However, if your debt significantly outweighs your assets and income, bankruptcy may be a good choice.
A loan modification will change certain terms of your original loan. Through a modification, you can lower your interest rate, extend the term of the loan, and even have some of your principal forgiven.
If the lender has already started foreclosure proceedings, you cannot refinance your mortgage. To refinance your mortgage is to renegotiate the terms of your loan with your lender. You can change the interest rate, the principle, the length of the loan, and more.
You have many rights available to you and we can help you figure out what the best solution may be. In addition to illegal and improper collection activity connected to student loan debt, student loans are often securitized (bulk packaged and sold to investors on Wall Street), and the entity that is suing you may not have proper legal standing to do so.
Yes. Unless the bank successfully wins the foreclosure case by getting a judgment against you and selling your house at auction, the home belongs to you and you are within your legal rights to live in, rent or use your home for any lawful purpose you choose.
A spouse is not affected by bankruptcy if they did not sign an agreement for the debt. It really depends on how the debt is held and who is legally responsible for it. Call us to review your options for free.
