Mayor Jeanne Garant Harborfront Park is a beachfront park in Port Jefferson, NY. It’s breathtaking and surrounded by a village with shops and restaurants. The marina is just delightful. It has a skating rink, harbor walkway, playground, among others.

Yes! I don't even know if it would take as long as 2 minutes. It's VERY close. If you are facing north toward Connecticut and the Long Island Sound, Harborfront park is to the east/right and on the water. The big red Village Center building is behind Harborfront Park.
Should be able to dock right at the port
