I made an appointment with a guy named Jesus and he stood me up with not even a phone call to tell me he wasn’t coming. Unprofessional as can be.

My husband had an account that was created fraudulently.. when we contacted FPL in Dec 2020 they indicated that there was no proof, so we would need to get the proof. Whatever that means. We asked them to help us gain access to the account as the email, password and phone number were all under the person that committed the fraud.. they indicated they could not change it, despite my husband being the alleged account holder. Well, we contacted the person that opened the account and she stated she would pay it the week after Christmas. Nearly a year later, and the account is still there. Prior to calling this time I made sure we had all documentation proving my husband did not reside in that home nor consent to the power being opened in his name. Original lease, power bill with different name and address on it, CURRENT lease at our current home indicating he was not living in the home during the time of service, text messages and screenshots showing proof of everything. We even have a police report… Even though we provided all we did FPL is still refusing to help us, even after sitting on hold forever.. Unfortunately we have to work with this company in the future. Not looking forward to it.

Absolutely the worst power company in the history of electricity. They secretly hate customers. Get this company out of Volusia county.

This is the worst place I've ever dealt with. I moved, set up auto pay, 3 mts into it no auto pay and no bill mailed to me. I called at least 5 different phone numbers and it outright says u cannot speak to an agent. I called one more time and hit the prompt for new service, someone answered and said I never signed up for auto pay so she switched me to the auto pay and what the what they have all my bank info. In the meantime my bill is now for 3 mts bc of their stupidity they suck

Yes he is charged for the light if he has requested it, as the pole and transformer is on the right of way not really private property
