I have to give 5 stars for tonight, the transformer blew and it's in my back yard. The guys that came to repair it had their work cut out for them, but they got it. It was even faster than they said it would be. Unfortunatly, that same transformer blew a few days ago from the storm. They came out and fixed it quickly. And it was appreciated. The problem that I had encountered was dealing with the customer service rep. After I had explained what had happened, she tried to see if they could connrct to the smart meter. After telling me they couldn't, she asked me to reset my breakers. I informed her that since there was no power coming into not only my house, but 5 other houses that connect to that transformer, that there was nothing to reset. She wanted to argue about it but I just said no. She sent the workers out and the rest you know.
