They rent car dollies, car carriers and semi trailers. No box trailers like U-Haul
For the truck rental it cost about 1500. But for gas, the new trucks use a special emissions fluid as well as diesel so every tank runs about 100 and every 3rd tank cost an extra 30 to 50 depending on the area. The trucks do not handle the mountains well so plan for 10mph up hill at any grade. GPS says it's about 3 days but it can easily stretch to 4 if heading through Colorado.
