Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Unless your desperate of course. Even if you are desperate, you have to wait 3 weeks (or more) to actually see someone.

This facility isn’t a resort. I did not come to get treatment in luxury. I didn’t come for 5 star treatment I came to get help. I appreciate most of the staff I only had issues with one very rude obnoxious lady and I believe she’s probably the reason for the negative staff comments but besides that situation New Horizons saved my life and I’m forever grateful. I would give this place a 5 star rating but that 1 employee (1 salt 1 pepper she knows who she is) was the only negative of the place. I visit this place once a month to get follow up therapy, and medication for cravings and I’m grateful.

They have sliding scale fees that are definitely doable
No, they stopped this a few years back. They have patches though
Sorry you feel that way Tony. I have been going through New Horizons for years. I had one bad experience with one person and that was it. I go there for a few different things and that place has truly saved my life. The staff and the people there truly care and they almost become like family. I highly recommend it. They have been a true blessing for me.
Insurance not needed. U could call in. Or just go up for a bed. I've Neva seen any1 turned away
No it's not. Front door has sign. But - if you're talking about in patient, you should definitely call them. I have never seen an in patient facility that does not have a smoking schedule. Port St. Lucie Hospital definitely has smoking.
Released from where and they have to have a release of information signed by client in order to give any information
I honestly don't know, give them a call. Pretty sure they can let you know.
You can walk in for emergency services like detox, you need an appointment for monthly appointments.
They have inpatient and outpatient treatment depending on level of support needed. They are always open for an assessment and to get you started with services. Head to the Midway location emergency entrance to talk to someone and help you pick the treatment that works best for you. If you can't make it to there, call the Mobil Crisis number on their website 24/7 to talk to somebody. This applies to all ages, genders, races, creeds, and people alike.
The DETOX unit and their 28 day Inpatient treatment center are located in 2 different facilities
