What are your rates for two Australia sheep dogs per day.

The deluxe sweet for boarding is $26 a night for the first dog and a 10% discount for second as long as they share a kennel, for a total of $49.40 a night. To add dayplay to a boarding stay is an additional $12 a dog. Dayplay is $19 a day as a stand alone service. Dayplay is not required during a boarding stay and all additional services are at your discretion.

are you open for volunteering

Call Jill's and ask Iesha or Jill directly. They should be able to discuss any volunteering opportunities with you, if available.

You will have to call Jill's or go to her website. Her website is full of info. Good luck

Does anyone know their rates? Compared to Lyn.Kennels?

You get what you pay for. We have been taking our dogs to Jill's for years and they have been well taken care of. We don't mind the increase in prices and love the girls who take care of them.

We presently get our dog Mindy groomed by Jill. We are so pleased with your service but Mindy is having an arthritis problem and worry about the time that she will be standing. Is there anyway to make accommodations for this issue?

As we've been grooming Mindy through the years, we've become familiar with both her difficult physical and temperament issues. A drop off closer to 830 would make for a shorter stay, but as far as rushing through it is concerned, this often does more harm than good. Jill gives Mindy frequent breaks and opportunities to lay down, especially if she seems to be in pain or favoring an area. We care a great deal about the comfort and safety of each and every dog that walks in and are happy to tailor appointments around their needs. When you call to make your next appointment, please talk to your receptionist about ways we can do this for Mindy.

We love the facility and will continue to use it; however, pet owners should have the ability to make other arrangements if there is something potentially communicable that you're aware of...communicating that before drop off day is the solution. TY

We're updated on all shots as always, but it's not a guarantee as we're going through it now. As well as our daughter's dog (dogs don't live together) who boarded st the same time.

How would the staff handle a skittish dog? How would the staff handle a dog that is overly forward with other dogs?

Benjamin Chapin | Sep 24, 2018

When we get a new dog, regardless of their temperament or eagerness to play, we integrate them into the group very slowly. Usually we start with employee dogs that are here everyday. They are calm and know the drill, and they help to calm the timid dog but they also know how to handle the enthusiasm of an overly eager dog. Very slowly we increase the number of other dogs they play with, letting each new dog guide how quickly they are integrated in. Some dogs never as just to the full play group, and that is okay. We have several yards and can put them in with smaller playgroups made of just the dogs they are comfortable with. For boarding, if they just don't enjoy play, they can always be walked alone and get extra one on one time with staff. We also offer daycare, an alternative to dayplay for dogs that don't enjoy groups, where we can watch them for you during the day, administer medication, and get several potty breaks.
