Hadn't been for a while but they had all my dogs info and they were able to get her in for the weekend at the last minute. They are very good with the dogs. I will use them in the future ☺️

We could not have been more please with our experience at Leland Pet resort . We dropped our pup off for an Orientation Day. We were greeted by a warm, friendly staff. Karen then took us for a tour and thoroughly explained the process and grounds . All the dogs seems SO happy! So did the entire staff 😊 This appears to be an organized, structured-yet fun environment for animals . I wound highly recommend to any considering boarding in the area. We have also had Karen do private lessons for our puppy—she is awesome !!!! Thank you so much !

The best place in our area to board your dog. I would not trust anyone else with our beloved “Scout”.

Yes!!! They do!

I have read that an owner's dog came down with kennel cough. I would like to hear from Leland Pet Resort how they would prevent this from happening in the future.

Thanks for asking about this. Like the common cold kennel cough can happen anywhere dogs are in social situations - at the dog park, at a pet store or at dog daycare. We sanitize our suites, hallways and yards daily, but this disease is mostly transmitted muzzle-to-muzzle or airborne. I like to compare it to colds for kids - although you can wash a kid's hands but you can't wash a dog's nose! We do take precautions to prevent the spread. We require all dogs to be vaccinated for Canine Cough (often called PIB or Bordetella). Unfortunately, like the flu vaccine, the PIB vaccination is not 100 % effective. We don't accept dogs that are coughing when entering our facility. If a dog begins coughing while in our care, we remove the dog from group play until the owner can make arrangements for pick-up. Although we hope to prevent it and have had only a few cases in the time we have been open, canine cough is not completely preventable in a situation where dogs are playing socially.

How many hours in the night are the pets left without anyone in the premises?

We tuck the pets in at 7 and are back the next morning before 7. We have actively monitored fire and burglar alarm systems as well as security cameras our facility manager can access.
