Our builder works with Capritta for the major appliances. We decided to order the washer and dryer through Capritta also to ensure that all the appliances would be installed and ready to go when we moved in. The washer has never turned on. It appears that the locking mechanism was not installed during manufacturing. We are starting our third week in the house, no working washer, and no idea when this will be resolved. The other appliances work fine . . . I have tested the dryer to ensure it heats up. We were not there when the appliances were delivered. If you purchase appliances from Capritta, don't assume they are testing the appliances, make sure you are there, and test it yourself before accepting delivery. I have a washer that is 2 months into its warranty that has never washed a load of laundry . . . because it can't. So frustrating! I spent the day doing laundry else where and brought the last load back to the house to dry. My mistake was thinking the dryer worked correctly because it heated up. There is no dryer hose for venting the dryer to the outside . . . therefore all the moisture and warm air is going into my laundry room.

Service is everything! I considered going to a big box store but these appliances were for my parents and I needed to make sure they could talk to someone if they needed help. Beginning with John, he was knowledgeable about all products, listened to what my mom wanted and made great recommendations. Kelly got us scheduled quickly based on a tricky timeframe. Shane and Jamaal were our delivery install team. They were early, friendly and very conscientious. They protected the floors during removal and install of a dishwasher, washer and dryer. They also protected the counters, laying down a cloth to put their tools on. A great experience, thank you Capritta team!

Some advice find out if they are still making parts for the make and model of your appliance before pre-paying $139 diagnostic fee. They say it will go towards the parts and labor but if there are no parts there Is no labor and you are out $139.

Hi Lisa! We only service major home appliances. However, Kitchen Aid offers repair options through their website if you’d be able to ship it to their factory. There’s instructions on kitchenaid.com. Hope it gets sorted out for you soon.
