VERY UPSET with how they ended things upon my mother's DEATH under their guardianship!! My mother battled STAGE 4 TRIPLE NEGATIVE BREAST CANCER. Her wound got infected & had to be admitted to Cape Fear Valley medical for about 3 months. Then they discharged her to Carolina Rehab center around the corner on June 15th 2022, just for her to DIE THE NEXT DAY June 16th!!! But get this, they didn't even notify the family of her death until 4 days later because "they didn't know cuz their office phones were down the day she died".And the Supervisor DAVID RICHMOND could NOT PROVIDE PROOF when I asked. I think they are lying because the social worker LORENA EDWARDS knew the timing did not look good on her behalf. Considering she stopped communicating for a whole month or 2 before hand. Guess they didn't want their Father's day weekend ruined by having multiple calls from the grieving family. But had the nerve to make my mother a DNR patient against her request before going ghost. & was initially rude when I called asking questions after my mama died. P.s- NONE of us children or immediate family was listed as contacts in the paperwork as LORENA EDWARDS did not "get a chance" to update it... The whole miscommunication upon my mother's death would have been avoided if so.

The Moore county DSS will take your children for no reason they will also take your children and keep them from you not allow you to see them or anything no matter what they tell you to do if you do it they still want to lay you to see your children You just cannot win with these people
