SEPT 2022 Thrift stores in N Chas wildly overpricing trashy items. Heck, go to Roses Express instead. NOV 2021 UPDATE Yeah, I know how the review "game" works-- on Amazon, on Reddit AND on here. SHILLS with high ratings burying the reviews with complaints. He. He. **** Yeah, so most smart North Chuck thrifters are aware that this store is a fake charity. Like some others, they only license the Kidney Foundation name, donating something like $1 a truckload and .01 on the dollar, I have been told. **** That being said, many of us still go there to find things that we want. The selection is usually good, and they rotate the stock. The manager who was off the July 4th holiday week needs to take a look at front of the house operations, though. I doubt Park Circle area shoppers and donators will continue to shop here if not treated with respect. Funny how some cashiers go into "limbo mode" when there are customers waiting in line. If you have store video, take a look at that. Buh Buh, Community Thrift.

Love this place, earlier today however, I was in this store with my daughter, and as we were shopping, this guy kept following us around, I literally could feel him right behind me, so I got irritated, picked my cart up and set it off to the side (okay I might very have slammed it down) and moved so whoever was in such a hurry could go the hell past me. Same guy, apparently no knowledge of something called personal space- he continued to walk around the store slowly, like he was scoping people out. Kept doing it, and left when the police showed up (some woman had her phone stolen or something). I am posting his picture, keep your kids close when you're out shopping. Although this was an irritating experience, the store is great and I don't fault them at all! I can always find great treasures here!
