Great place to take a walk. Paved road is pretty easy and comfortable to walk on. The shade of the tree covers the entire roads

It's a great setting with the loop around the lake. I've seen all kinds of wildlife and there are shaded areas so you aren't getting blasted by sun the whole time. I just wish it were open 24/7.

Great place for morning exercise, with playgound and obstacle course, very good for bring kids.

Beautiful natural setting with a paved trail (and unpaved forest trails) around the entire lake. Includes awesome lake views, lots of birds, softball fields, a fishing pier, a playground area for children, and free parking. (Best to use the Laura Duncan entrance on weekends.) Kayaks allowed. Overall, well maintained. At peak times (early evening and weekends) a variety of pedestrians use the trail, including seniors, moms with baby carriages, adults walking dogs (leash required), families with young children, and occasionally bike riders. Sometimes bikers ride too fast and forget to shout a warning as they approach. It is important for pedestrians to stay to the right.

No, the only lights are in the parking lots around the park. The park has dawn to dusk hours. Enjoy your time there!
It's $40 per year for non-residents. $5 per year for residents. Since the lake is pretty small, most boaters are there to fish.
I believe it was closed for the 22nd and 23rd. You probably are already aware of this, and road work is still being done, but the road is open now!
