I stopped by for a quick bite to eat and some coffee Sunday morning. The cashier was very accommodating and got me my food quicker than promised. Price was a tad higher than maybe a Waffle House or ihop but I think it’s worth it. Highly recommend this location and I want to especially recognize the outstanding customer service.

We just started to order food from huddle house. Really liked their food, 100 times better than IHOP. My orders were never wrong and the food was always seasoned very well but not salty. I hate salty foods. Love all the options you get as well. However I have 1 complaint. The hash brown has been consistently BAD. It was never made right. They always come very soggy, undercooked, lukewarm, pale OR, super greasy, and overcooked, burnt crispy hard AF. Today was the latter. I threw it out. Terrible hash. I would recommend skipping hash brown as your sides.

I was introduced to the Huddle House by a friend of mine who raves about their food and hospitality. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly pleased by its diner-like atmosphere in downtown Suffolk. The entire restaurant was Covid-compliant! I ordered the chopped steak, mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy with a side of corn, and some Texas toast. The food was good; the service was fast and the waiters were extremely nice and hospitable. The restaurant could use some extra help, because the two young servers were micromanaging the 24-hour restaurant as best as they could. I would definitely revisit the Huddle House to try their Southern breakfast. Everything on the menu looks delicious.

Was trying to beat the heat and also get a great dining experience. Food, service, and price with COVID-19 safety procedures in place. Reading some of the other reviews, I almost didn’t go in. I’m glad I changed my mind! ☺️

Does huddle house offer senior citizens discount

I don't think they do but you can always call and ask. The last time we were there our food came out cold and the portions were very small. Called the manager over and she got them to reheat our food but she said the food portions were weighed out for each meal. So I tell her the last time we were there I ordered the same thing and got a nice portion? So we left and haven't been back since. I am not paying my hard earned money for 2 little small pieces of pot roast and a dab of mashed potatoes that wouldn't amount to even a half of a cup! So it's back to cracker barrel for us. Sure is hard to find good places to eat anymore??
