ACE loves to send out coupons that don't qualify for use. I even recently purchased a fundraiser booklet which had ACE coupons on them. I wanted to use one($10 off any $50 purchase) on a bag of fertilizer. The fertilizer was $55 but on sale for $48 with a rewards card. So I specifically didn't give them my rewards account so the sale price wouldn't apply. The cashier claimed it was still 'on sale', so the coupon wouldn't apply. So ACE lures you in with attractive coupons, only to find out half of the products they sell are 'on sale', so the coupon won't work. You know, an item shouldn't be considered 'on sale' if you only ever sell it at that price. From now on I'll be spending my money at Menards, where you get 10% off of everything, no strings attached.

Best place to shop in town. Definitely my go to for hardware but also home goods. Their rental department is pretty amazing. Fair prices and surprising selection.
