Lots of hair! Completely traumatized!!! A few months back my husband and I were really craving some Chinese food and since mings is closed we thought we'd give hunans a try. Food wasn't great. When we got to the pork fried we found a really long black hair. Investigating further we found more long black hairs mixed in the rice. Ok that's gross. I didn't want a refund or replacement but I did think the restaurant should know so no one else has this happen. So I called and spoke with the owner. I told her about what we had found and before I could even finish she blurted out " that's my hair." It caught me off guard but she continued saying she pulls her hair out, it goes in the food then asked if I'd like more pork fried rice. I told her God no! Then it got weird and she told me her husband beats her it's really bad. I didn't know what to say so I just said it's ok I don't need a refund try to be more careful. Looking back now I probably should have got that refund. I wonder how many others have found hairs in their food? I'm not craving Chinese anymore. Thanx hunans.

Solid food. Technically only the spring rolls are vegan though, everything else has chicken broth or animal products in the sauce. If you are a vegetarian or are okay with chicken broth, they are tons of great options.

The crab wontons are a joke. They are flat and about 1/4 the size you get EVERYWHERE else. The coconut curry tofu.... The curry sauce was more like a garam masala PASTE. After a few bites I had to scrape the paste off and just eat the tofu plain (and this is coming from someone who LOVES curry, masala dishes and spicy food in general). To their credit, the tofu was cooked well 🤷🏻‍♀️

My family came by this restaurant our first time visiting the UP, our fried rice wasn't fried, it was mixed between burnt rice and white rice. The proteins were all burnt and we didn't eat anything other than the soup. Upon talking to our server about the about our concerns, the comes out and calls the police on us. She was very unprofessional as I wasn't looking for a free meal. We literally didn't eat any of the food because of the quality. I would never eat here nor recommend anyone try it. There has to be a better Chinese restaurant in the area.
