Never available. Don't understand the hate towards Tesla's in the other reviews though, every electric car owner is looking for free charge, no? Tesla owners aren't any more "greedy" than anybody else. There are chargepoints available for non-Teslas, just as there are Tesla superchargers nearby.

I'm a few blocks away from South Shore and have an electric vehicle so I drop by often check for charging when driving to the center. 9/10 times it will be taken. You may notice a Tesla or two parked here when there's Tesla charging station right on the parking lot next to Walgreens. I believe the Teslas are using this Volta station to avoid fees 99% of the time. This station charges at a much more slower rate which inconveniences non-Tesla vehicles to wait for a Tesla to get a full charge so I would hope the Tesla users acknowledge it when they come here to charge.

It's only great if you can get a spot to charge so I can only give 3 stars for now. I would give 5 if they expanded charging stations to AT LEAST 6 spors. Tesla put their row of supercharging station in the shopping center yet I see Teslas taking up these precious spots and it is infuriating. Thank you Volta for at least offering this service. Please expand quickly!

It is great and I hope we can have more stations there. It’s almost always busy with other people waiting to charge their ev cars. I’m intrigued by the frequent ratio of Teslas charging there for hours, over than necessary, when there is a dedicated super charging station feet’s away.

Nothing, unfortunately. Maybe (if you can get into the next spaces) leave a note asking them to plug you in. But unplugging someone else's car is a bad idea - if only because some cars will set off an alarm if you do.
Free - it's paid by the ads on the charging stations.
Probably - it's a Level 2, with the j connector. Most electric cars can use that (it's the Level 3 connectors that differ).
