Moved my mom here in several years ago. It was great. Activities, shuttle that went to stores and restaraunts. Daily continental breakfast. Covid happened and now things are still not back to normal. The beauty salon is not open the hours listed and there have been many issues, prior to Covid. None of my moms friends go to the salon. It seems the company doesn't care like it once did. We were told to move belongings off of the patio/front porch because they were painting. That was Nov, it's now July and it's still not complete. No refund of any money, considering for 2 years there were zero activities and very few food offerings. The ATM was stolen again for the 3rd time, and now I hear they have no nighttime security. I was a champion of this place once, now I'm just dissapointed. I hope they get back to the 5star place they used to be.

They took the option of closing this chapter away from me as it would have been my final goodbye to my mother I’m truly 💔 especially since I offered to do right and they accepted my money freely up until my mother’s lease was up then they refused to accept my money for rent and did not extend the courtesy of allowing me to get my last bits of belongings out before they changed the locks and refused to allow me to get the Comcast equipment that I need to return unless I pay all the back rent they now want to charge for … I tried to do the right thing and they refused … GOD doesn’t like ugly

My mother moved into this complex (apt #3209) on 07/2010 and lived here without any issues until 11/07/2020 when she passes away peacefully in her sleep in her apartment. I had moved in with her on 05/2019 to care for her but was never actually added to her lease however I paid out her lease until 07/2021 and offered to pay $100.00 more to go month to month until I was able to find my own place. Keep in mind due to the Covid-19 rent moratorium no one in the Sacramento area was able to find affordable housing however I did honestly offer to pay rent and the complex office staff refused to accept my money. Thankfully on 02/2022 I was able to find a place to move into and I made sure I left my mother's apartment cleaned out and in excellent condition with the exception of a few items I needed to come back and collect but I will have you know the complex came in a changed the locks on me without notice and is refusing to release my property until I pay $19,000.00 in back rent. This is absolutely crazy that this complex would try and circle back around and try to collect back rent when they initially refused to take my money from the start!!! My conscience is clear because I paid out my mother's lease even after she passed away and I offered to do what was right even when I didn't have to and this is how they choose to treat family members who have to go thru all the stages of finalizing their deceased loved ones affairs is really unfortunate. I write this post not out of bitterness but to bring awareness to how uncaring this complex can be when it comes to loosing a loved one. PLEASE TAKE CAUTION ON RENTING AT THIS COMPLEX.
