Got my beloved pet here. Felt bad that there are about 180 pets there. Seems like more people would want to rescue.

American bull dog/half bully. We just moved & we were all overwhelmed. I want to know if she has hopes to gettn adopted or will sbe have to be put down. She's 3 & we had a 8yr old Chihuahua. We don't know what happend but no one was home. Came home to a dead Chihuahua. I really lost love for her & much more trust. What can I do & what should I do. So stressed out cuz we have family with kids comming to visit for the weekend. So worried to even have her present. She's been acting aggressive towards people she knows. Like mom & uncle. Growls & barks at my mom and almost attacked my uncle. Her being protected is now become very over protected with even family. More now that we have a 2yr old. Now more than ever I worry & stress and don't want to put any one in danger. What can I do? What do you recommend I do?? Were so sad & upset with all this that it has affected my 12yr old son.😞😢please help.
Well the REALITY is, if it is, its probably for a reason. Its not the 1st, it wont be the last.
The shelter has kittens but California law states kittens and pups has to be 8wks to adopt or rehomed. There is a adoption for to fill out its not long. If u rent u have to get landlords approval. Kittens are 65 to adopt might still be 15 dollars tho.
You can Google merced county animal shelter and get their address they are located at castle now
You can surrender but don't get a dog if you are going to get rid of it
Yes they will probably get adopted
They'll take any size dog and cat and take care of them
Yes that's correct you have to sign paperwork suggestion are requiring that you be a responsible owner I've adopted two dogs from there and they've turned out fantastic the place is run extremely well
It depends... what type of violation, ticket, etc...
No. There are local rescues that pull animals and you can apply to be a foster for one of them.
They are posted on the web site
They only have dogs and cats.
There is no cost.
My bad, I'm usually good at answering questions about places I have been but unfortunately I have never been inside the shelter.
You can go there, however you have to choose animals you want to look at online. Write down their number and I think you can see them through glass.
Yes.
You can see the animals they have on their website. You can also call and they will schedule an appointment to see the animal. Everyone there that helped us with our animal were super helpful.
Make an appmt if the puppy is still available.
Not that I know about
Not sure of dates and times. You could call them or look up on their website
I would not think so if you are just reporting injured animal
Best thing to do is look at their website and find out what the requirements are. They need a copy of a rental agreement or prove home ownership. You can look at the dogs they have online , call to see if they are still available because the rescues pull the ones can homes faster.
Yes they have a variety of dogs the population turns over quite a bit you have to check frequently and they do a fantastic job of exercising and providing care for their dogs I just adopted one about a month ago he's beautiful
Dont know. They have lots of Dogs and cats out there
Id Call 1st And Find out.
If it is a stray dog free
Depends on the reason and if it is license and has its shots
Sometimes, its just better to just go to a farm to gettem
Yes i worked there for a little bit in the back and every week they have a kill list and if they think they have a good chance at adoption theyll prolong the euthanasia but a week to 2 weeks is the time limit
You can just look, as many times as needed to find the pet or pets you want. But be prepared to take one or more home, they will pull on your heart 💖 strings. They jusy want a home and to be loved
Where should I go?
Pet smart
Yes
Some places it's $165. But you can get a voucher from "New Beginnings" for a discount. Or just go to Turlock, they do it for $50-males, $65-females.
I suggest call your police dept and ask what can be done. If that happened I'm so sorry!
Your Best bet is to visit the website or go physically to the place to obtain the information
Not sure. You would need to call them
Dogs are $110 which includes micro chip, getting fixed and all shots, the liscense is an additional $6
You'll just have to go in and check. I'm sure if your dog was microchipped, they'd call you.
No they have referrals for some breeds. Depending on what type of training your looking for, Pet Smart has puppy training and dog training. There are other places like Evolve Training and PetCo and a few others. But I suggest you look into the place before signing up and paying the fee. Good luck.
Im not sure. You're going to have to call and ask in regards to that information.
Call the place do u get her for fostered like the animal shelter
Yes. You should look for a pit rescue. Or try 2nd chance animals. Good luck
There is a pet Cemetery on the frontage road and the Franklin bridge over 99. Try them. Sorry dont have the number. Also you can check with local vets, they would know
You should call.
Usually 110$
They are not a no kill shelter technically, but they work with rescues that take any in danger of euthanization.
I'm sure can but I'm not sure about their return policy. You may want to call and ask.
Not sure if there are any now. I have seen some before. Don't know the cost. Maybe around $50 but that includes license, vaccination, and the optional chip.
They said it was 110 no matter the size of the dog
I dont know
