To be clear, I have never been to Mike's Barber Shop, but Google has asked me so many times to rate this place, I figured I would attempt to scratch their itch. Mike's is across the street from a frequent bus stop of mine and from many times of sitting across the street from this joint, I can tell you that the overall vibe of the place is awesome. Very welcoming and neighborly. The individuals who leave seem exceptionally pleased with their treatments. As a woman who has no beard, does not require shaving [not in public, at least], and who has a nearly waist length mop of curls, this place is not a great fit for me personally, but I love how vibrant the place is and the energy that it adds to that corner. It even looks pretty at night. :)

Cool interiors! Been coming here for years and the compliments on my hair never stop. Who does your hair they ask? Well pretty much everyone in the shop has had a go so you really can’t go wrong with the team here.
