Katherine Healthcare is a wonderful place. The building might look old but it is filled with people who love working there and taking care of the residents with special care

My family member has received excellent care at Katherine. The staff is extremely friendly and will always take the time to discuss any needs or concerns. The handling of the covid crisis was great.

Well, yesterday was Easter Sunday and my husband went to visit his mom, but because he was late, because of traffic, he was unable to visit or even give her flowers. Also since they removed all the phones from patients bed rooms he is unable to call her. All he wanted to do is visit to 5 mins and give her the flowers thats it, he wasn't asking for 1 hr or all day. He was 20 mins late. He understood that! But not able to see her for 5 mins! Unbelievable! And the health care person said no that she's eating and that she didn't want to disturb her.

Physicians generally see residents upon admission and once every 30 days thereafter. Though the physicians aren’t there every day, our nursing staff is in constant communication with each physician that visits the facility.
Residents may take a leave of absence with a physician’s authorization, which can be arranged through the nursing staff. Residents who take a leave of absence must check in and out with the leave of absence (LOA) book at the nursing station.
Please make sure to check with the nursing staff before bringing food in to ensure the food complies with special diets. Any food kept in resident rooms must be in a properly sealed container.
