...so following Gerald Ford Museum and a fantastic lunch at Bistro Bella Vita in Grand Rapids off to cherry picking! Bucket list item was to see and pick cherries from a tree! Nothing like this in San Diego! Overhiser Orchards was perfect! The trees we picked from were full. The people who helped us were friendly.

Kids liked it but it was not free. It was the first time I had pay for kids to get in the farm! Cherries were delicious and easy for kids to pick. The price per pound is $ 3,50. That was not as affordable as we used to pick.

We had an amazing trip here - really, one of the best u pick + family farm stores in the area and would be amazing for children. Family is incredibly friendly and the black tom cat helped us pick apples for a bit. Loved it and will be back in the future for peach season!Thank you! We look forward to visiting with you again and can definitely supply you with peaches if Mother Nature is nice to us again next Spring! Holding on to HOPE!
