I love to go camp/just fish at this place! I caught a 5lb foot and a half long bass just today! It's worth the $5 per a car load if you're bored of the normal fish sides!

This is a great place to camp, especially if you want to be close to Rock Island State Park. This camp is extremely low cost and the man that runs it is so kind and accommodating. Up the hill there is a bathroom and showerhouse. If it is important to you, there is almost NO service at the bottom of the hill. Certain spots are perfect for hammocks. This is a great place to fish as well as the river is right next to it. This is a great place and once you get here, it feels far away from people, but it really isn't too far. As a photographer, I liked this place becasue of the beauty. At night, I took some pictures of the stars, because it gets so dark here because it isn't close to big citites! Some of my pictures are in the pictures for this campground. I love this place and had a great time.

Great place to camp after a few days traveling it's nice to have a shower, sit back and enjoy the river. The hill going down to the tent sites and river access is on a pretty steep grade, not sure how a rainy day may be get out of there. Owners were very nice people and the price to camp was good especially including the shower. Must make sure to clean up after yourself. The fire pit were all full of trash possibly because there were no trash cans available but they do have porta johns with toilet paper. Hammock camping is limited to a few spot aswell.

The owners are very nice. Tent camping is primitive with 2 porta potties avail. Only negative I have is that other campers and people feel the need to be loud all night long on a weekend and that's not the owners fault. It's just people are rude. We would stay there again. Good price too. Very pretty and minutes from the falls.

Yes but you need to drop 5 dollars in the payment box.... Last time a guy went fishing down there without paying he came down to the river over 6 times to wait for him to come back. The owner eventually wrote his license plate down before retiring to his house for the evening.
Just the bathhouse is closed. But they began spraying and super cleaning the port-a-pottys.
Just call ahead of time. Ive even called within an hours notice because i forgot to call the night before. They also take the overflow from Rock Island. So im sure they get a few random people who show up often.
Not sure what you mean by long term but they have some sites for pull behind. The couple that runs it is very nice and super people. Just give them a call

Yes they do have a space for the rv. Now iam not shure on the rates I only used the primitive sites because they are right on the water. Now I have a question if i may aak?? When are you lookin at goin??
