A very cute B&B! You can walk to the restaurants, as well as the beach. It backs to the community park, but was very quiet. Breakfast every morning was wonderful, as was our room!

Big shoutout to Jim and Tammy owners of Bay Haven Inn of Cape Charles. What an awesome experience! The exceptional service started day 1 when the reservation was made. The outstanding accommodations coupled with the yummy home cooked breakfasts and them sharing the history of the home can only be described with one word. WOW!!!! And ever on that side of the water and want an experience like none other look no further. Bay Haven Inn is the best!!!!!!!

Tammy and Jim are two very wonderful innkeepers that make you feel like you are at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay and definitely plan to visit them again. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the breakfasts are prepared by Jim who is most definitely a first rate chef! They engage everyone not only at breakfast but during the evenings to make everyone feel right at home. The overall rating from us is .........Awesome!!

Jim and Tammy were great hosts! They were accommodating, conversational, and served a delicious breakfast. They were a wealth of knowledge; they were happy to educate us about things to do around the town and provide historical context. The old inn was tastefully restored and decorated. I was surprised by how quiet the evenings were. Not much thumping around or creaking. I plan to stay again.

Yes they're is a winery, distillery, and brewery to start with. Great places to eat. They have a small main street Good for shopping, massage and nail place, and the fishing is great. Go on a charter or fish off the pier.
Hello Brandi, yes you sure can! Cape Charles is small historic town and the inn is located in the exact center of the 8 x 7 block town. Easy access to shops and restaurants.
YES! The Virginia Eastern Shore is known for our aquaculture and our restaurants in Cape Charles take advantage of this local resource fully. Many choices like The Shanty, The Oyster Farm Eatery and CPier, Tim's place, farm to table offerings at Hook U Up Bistro to name just a few. All walking , bike or golf cart distance from the inn
Since the Town of Cape Charles is nestled on the east side of the Chesapeake Bay and facing west we get the most amazing sunsets! Just follow #capecharlesunsets to see. There are two fabulous restaurants, The Shanty and The Oyster Farm Eatery with great views of the sunset nightly. Or you can grab a few beach chairs from the inn and enjoy it directly from the beach!
We are 4 blocks from the Cape Charles Beach which is a quiet white sand beach on the Chesapeake Bay. We provide beach chairs and towels for guest and mother nature provides the serene backdrop!
