Great service, great food, great wine. Loved the fried green tomatoes, pork chop and sorry ribs. Perogies weren't my thing and caprese salad wasn't my favorite. Strawberry mojito was awesome and the sancere wine was delicious! So that topped off with a wonderful strawberry cheesecake. Yum

We tried a new place for dinner down at the beach for our son's 19th Birthday. 1st off we hit traffic coming from Lewes, DE and we were 10 mins late for our reservation and they welcomed us as soon as we walked in and sat us no issues. The inside was beautiful, but the view was amazing! We had Keenan as our waiter and he recommended drinks, food, and desserts to try. Not only was he very attentive to anything we needed, I wanted a fruity tropical drink and unfortunately I just recently found out I am allergic to pineapple, so he told the bartender and they made me a very good drink without pineapple juice. I was very grateful for their kindness in finding something fruity that didn't contain my allergy. Every food item we had from start to finish was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend everyone to give them a try.

Fantastic food and even more fantastic service. The workers here are an absolute delight. The food was absolutely delicious at a very reasonable price for the quality. We tried the lollipop lamb racks, some salad, duck breast, and braised beef short rib. They were all very good but I would say my favorite was the duck breast. The juxtaposition of all the flavors in their dishes was on point. The main entree food portions are also relatively large - it was filling. This restaurant was definitely the highlight of our trip and would definitely come back here again to try the other dishes. Thank you to the staff for making our dinner very enjoyable.

I absolutely enjoyed my experience at the hobbit restaurant. It started by being greeted at the door and having the door held open. Every staff member was friendly helpful and greeted me. So service was the best I’ve ever had in any …

We recommend smart casual or business casual. We ask that men do not wear hats, tank tops or sweatpants. Sandals, T-shirts and jeans are fine to wear. Garvey H. Owner
Kay, They have happy hour Sunday through Thursday from 5-7 at the bar featuring discounts on all alcohol and some limited food deals.
They aren't unfriendly with kids, but not the best place to bring your kids.
They definitely have na beer
Not really, but it is a white tablecloth restaurant, so I would dress, in the very least, in "office casual".. I didn't see anyone there in shorts or other beachware.
Yes I dined there when a storm hit and stayed dry
Michael, Yes, men can wear shorts. We just ask that men do not wear tank tops or sweatpants. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hopefully seeing you soon. Garvey H. Owner The Hobbit

Mike, thanks for the question. You can absolutely bring your own bottle of wine and we charge a $25 corking fee per 750mL (normal size bottle of wine)
Keith, Thanks for your interest. Obviously it depends on what you choose/how many courses and if you purchase alcohol. Our menu from last year is on our website so you can get an idea on our pricing at thehobbitrestaurant.com. We do offer kids chicken fingers with fries as well. Wishing you a great Winter and we hope to see you when we reopen on April 17th! Garvey H. Owner The Hobbit
Mary, Unfortunately our last day this season will be Saturday, October 20th. Thank you for your interest!
