lol Such a weird experience. Front guy had no interest serving anyone and he was the only person working in the front. AC was off, it was hot as hell, they had the door open (desi style). Just before we went I called and asked if they had lunch buffet and if food was halal. Guy who picked up said (I believe the front guy), only lamb and beef was halal and yes they had buffet going on. He didnt mention even though lamb and beef was halal, they were not serving any lamb or beef item in the buffet menu. We went there at 1pm, buffet closes at 3pm I believe. Everything was almost empty, no one refilled any of the items. I got last piece of chicken tandoori, some dal and naan. After us two other couples came, they were just eating dal and naan; there wasnt any other item, surprisingly no one was complaining. It was just a sad place. lol lol I should be mad. But instead if found it funny. I never went to a place where it felt like someone is forcing them to run that place, they had no interest what so ever to serve food or make good impressions. Dont go. There is not a single good thing about this place. I shouldve trusted the reviews.

The food was bursting with flavor--so good! We had the lamb korma and the lemon fish curry. They were both excellent. The rice pudding was light and not too sweet. Delicious.

Been to this restaurant multiple times and the owner is unwelcoming and rude. My review is basically the same as every other review that's been left before. Never going again. Called ahead about menu and dietary concerns and turned out we were misinformed. Waste of time. Not to mention the owner is honestly just a mean a hole.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I can't post this review without a Star so I'm giving it 1 star. Today I'm forced to write my first restaurant review after a very bad experience. We have travelled around the world and the US but there's not one place where we felt unwelcome and disgusted with the service except this restaurant. There are only about 6 tables in the restaurants. Only 3 tables had customers before we entered. Two were already served and one was placing the order. There was one table that was between two other tables that already had people. We didn't want to sit there and asked if they could clear another table that was in the corner away from other customers and we can wait till it's cleared. The reply from the waiter especially the tone and the reaction was unbelievable. He said "No, take that table. We are busy I can't clear that table". There was not a bit of politeness in his words or body language. It looked as though our presence there was not welcome and we were there to serve the restaurant. We offered to wait until the table was cleared and were very considerate but a restaurant with only one customer placing the order and two more already having their entree is definitely not busy to clear just one table. We walked away. We are never going back there again. P.S. This is our second bad experience. Prior to this there was another incident few years ago but we decided to give it another chance.
