worst u-haul experience ever. First time in this location due to unavailability in my preferred location. The key was hanging right behind the guy and he keeping saying the truck is in another lot for 30min.. another guy found that.. it took 1.5hrs for a pick up with prior reservation and also doing the online check-in.. never going back again..

I have just experienced the worst customer service in many years. I went to this location to install a hitch and a bike rack. When I picked up my car, I realized the back rack was not the one I ordered. ( I specially asked for the one in display at this place ). So, they had to order it as they were running out of stock. Errors happen especially in this environment where everybody is short staff. I asked for a confirmation email of my new order and have been said not to worry as “ a note was on my file”. I received a call yesterday telling me they received the bike rack, was assembled and can stop anytime to have it install on my car ( btw, I paid a fee for the installation ) All good. However, when I stopped by this morning, nobody there was aware and asked for a confirmation email. I re-explained everything and asked them to call the manager I dealt with since she was not on site today. They finally dropped a box with the bike rack to me. Was not assembled. I asked if they could make the assembly and set it up on my car. The staff there did not want to do it for “ free”. I explained again that I originally paid an installation fee and was not my fault is an error was made. I did not want to pay for an installation fee again. I stopped discussing as it was going nowhere. I asked to get the manager on the phone and got replied they were not allowed to give me her phone number. So here I am….going home with my rack IN my car and will have to make the assembly myself. I am sharing this experience here in the hope that a U-Haul manager will read and reach out to me since the local staff would not allow me to call the management. This is a shame because my last year experience there was excellent.

Poor costumer service, The girl on front was very rude, we came about 6.50 PM before they closed but the girl force to me the key drop on drop box for change me $20 extra. Okay

They do that but not on every uhaul store!!!
I'm pretty sure you can, but I'd give a call before I head down there
I think for 3 hours its probably about $80
Im not sure maybe if you get their insurance it would cover it.
