Caring for my husband with dementia posed an extremely difficult problem for all the caregivers at Right at Home. Tracy did an exceptional job trying to meet his needs while also being mindful of the family's preferences. When necessary she even stepped in to personally care for my husband. Finding and keeping caregivers that provide good care at low wages, required to keep round-the-clock care even somewhat affordable, is a real challenge and Right at Home met that challenge well. It is important to use a caregiving company run by someone who is caring and compassionate both for the patient and the family. You won't find anyone who does that better than Tracy.

Money and jewelry were stolen by two different caregivers within the first 24hrs of bringing my aunt home from the hospital! when reporting this to the owner, she intimated that it was my sister or myself who stole my aunt's things. The police could do nothing---even though they saw the money, some of which was from the 1940's, in one of the caregivers bags in a plastic bag---- because my aunt was the owner of the items and we did not want to upset her. She died two weeks later.

Yes. Every caregiver is employed by our local Right at Home office. To help ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, we perform a criminal history background clearance and then cover each caregiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Be wary of agencies that claim the caregivers are “independent contractors.” In most cases, caregivers do not qualify as “independent contractors” according to tax and labor laws.
Yes. We do our best to take the guesswork out of matching the right caregiver with you and your family by using our proprietary screening and selection system. We encourage your involvement in the decision-making process. Your satisfaction is important so we try to accommodate requests for a change in caregivers, as allowed by law.
