Beautiful ponds, but the shade is no more, devastated by August Complex Fire in 2020. I don't think they stock it anymore or if it's safe, the burned trees could drop branches.

It's a long bumpy ride into a nuked out forest literally every tree is burnt too a crisp. But the ponds at the meadow are beautiful and there are still some green trees around the pond lots of shade and very quiet.

Not gone, but pretty heavily impacted, and not (yet) open.
There's about a good 30 min of dirt road. It's well kept and easy to drive on, and you can keep fairly fast. It gets pretty dusty driving on it though so careful.
