Prior to a friend recommending Iora (and Dr. Flewwelling) I was paying a high annual fee for “concierge” medicine with hopes of getting better care/more attention. Without a doubt, my experience with Iora far exceeds the quality of care I received from the concierge medicine service or from any other providers on the Cape. I highly recommend them and am praying that as they grow they continue to maintain their focus on quality and responsiveness.

Dr. Jane Craig has been my primary physician for a number of years. Initially my wife and I had been seeing her at a different healthcare facility on the Cape. At that time my wife and I always felt that Dr. Craig had a genuine interest in our well being and felt fortunate to have her as our primary physician. When we received a letter stating that Dr. Craig would be working with a different healthcare facility were were concerned about having to switch doctors but we were able to follow her to Iora primary care. I've been impressed with Iora over the last two years. The staff in Hyannis has been helpful, friendly and communicative. I'm getting older and I've realized that the reason many people retire is so they have time to go to doctor visits. That said I feel fortunate to have Iora and Dr Craig to lean on when I need them.

I am a 76 yr old male. Dr. Andrew Flewwelling has been my PCP for about one year. I could not be more pleased with his responsiveness, thoroughness, skill and judgement. The speed with which he has responded to every issue, even beyond normal business, hours, is virtually unique in my experience. Iora's approach to patient communication, including support Team members and technology, is excellent. I recommend Iora without hesitation.

We're new to this relatively new practice and have been impressed with its concept of a team of professionals to support you and back you up. The offices are convenient (yes, in a shopping mall), up-to-date, and immaculate. Communication is excellent; when I needed a prescription and wrote to the doctor via their portal asking him to fill it, he quickly sent it to the pharmacy I'd previously specified -- and when I wrote to thank him, he responded to that! This kind of responsiveness, rare in too many current practices, reminds me that there's a real person there who's watching out for me. After trying without success here on Cape Cod to find a primary doctor taking new patients, Iora has welcomed me and my husband, and stepped up to provide the care we need.

We are a primary care doctor’s office for adults on Medicare. We offer in person, video and telephone visits for patients. Our patients have access to a Behavioral Health Specialist on-site. Our patients are also able to access an Iora provider 24/7 by phone for urgent needs after business hours or on the weekends. We also have on-site laboratories and can coordinate transportation when you need help getting to appointments.In addition, we provide exercise and health and wellness group classes.
We’re Iora, a doctor’s office dedicated to providing quality primary care for adults 65 and older on Medicare. We’re here for seniors with quality care that’s focused only on you. As an Iora patient, you receive a primary care provider and Health Coach who are focused on your needs, and you are also supported by a care team. We practice relationship-based care, which means we take the time to get to know our patients and value the relationships we build with them.
We are open and welcoming new patients, and remain on call for our patients 24/7. While COVID-19 remains a threat, especially for older adults, we are encouraging video visits as the best first option for most care. For patients in need of in-person care, we are taking measures to safeguard the health of our patients and care teams in our practices. This includes cleaning the exam room after every appointment, wearing personal protective equipment, as well as requiring patients to wear masks when they are at the practice.
We can partner with any specialist that is in your insurance network. If you have existing relationships with specialists, great! Feel free to keep them. If not, we can recommend one.
While we are not affiliated with any hospital, we can work with any hospital that is within your network and we can coordinate with your loved ones to help ensure you are getting the care you need.
Hello Charline, The cost our patients are responsible for depends on their insurance plan. We work with Medicare eligible patients and there is no additional fee for being a patient at Iora Primary Care.
