Positive: The lobby not as depicted in the photos. Never saw a patio nor was told about it. The room was very small, barely any outlets and the bathroom was little bigger than a closet. Is a very old building from the Gold Rush area. While quaint, wasn't impressed Negative: Very tiny bathroom and practically no outlets!

JUNE 2021: The owners are nice people and it is pretty cheap to stay here. It's much cheaper than anyone else around here for sure. I was given a weekly rate. But my room is small and not so clean. No closet or rack to hang clothes and the bed is extremely uncomfortable. The back porch and garden/patio area (with a big gas grill and plenty of seating) is very serene and relaxing. Strangely enough, it is pleasantly quiet despite the fact that there are mostly locals and a lot of night activity that is not suitable for minors. I don't feel unsafe, but I could understand how tourists might feel that way. I am a local myself who has lived here about 30 years and know or know of a lot of the people around here, so I'm not really intimidated by anyone. This place needs some maintenance for sure (which there is some construction going on), but for the price and the location it's not so bad - especially if you're just going to sleep and shower here. I'd definitely stay here again. MARCH 2022 UPDATED: So after being here 9 months now, I can say that I will never stay anywhere else if I ever do get into a rental and need a room for family/friends or myself in the future. The owner here is one fine lady, and I am extremely blessed that she extended her hospitality to me or I'd be homeless right now. This place has been transformed over these past months, it's clean, it's quiet, it's definitely safe, nobody messes around here because nobody gets in undetected and the owner is a no-nonsense kind of lady. Everyone here is truly respectful of each other's privacy and always willing to help out each other when needed. It's more like family than my own family has been lately. I can't rate any less than 5 stars for my Google review, but on my own scale of life experiences and humanity, I'd give it 10/10 stars.

Some staff are polite and helpful as possible. A lot of traffic in the late night. People shouting up and down hallway and slamming doors disrupting other hotel guess. Upstairs rooms are not very comfortable with all the noise. Cottages are better to stay in. More private and quite. Still a lot of traffic in hotel. Continental breakfast was old fruit was molded. I would not recommend this hotel. Will never stay here again.

Room was not as shown. We got a cottage. It showed a balcony room very clean and nice. Not at all what we got There are locals living in these rooms as homes. Little kids running around playing. The court yard is all over grown not even what thw picture shows. The breakfast basket is delivered at 9 pm. Has fruit milk cups of cereal hot and cold A bag of hot tea and coco no coffee for the small pot I. Thw room. No cups.to use for the coffee pot. Not any dishes for that matter. My husband and I was very disappointed in what we got. The web site pics are very old as well very different. The hotel is not even green anymore. Dinning area is closed.
