I made an ObGyn appointment at this clinic 3 months in advance as I was under IVF fertility care and knew after implantation I would need pregnancy care. I had specifically asked for a female physician. My first appointment is week from now and They assigned a male doctor to me.I called the clinic to see if they can assign me a female doctor and the front desk informed me that I would need to wait another four months to see a Female Ob. At this time the receptionist recommended that I speak with their office manager Amanda Murphy. As soon as she answered the phone she was enraged. I explained to her my situation and asked if she could help me. She proceeded to mock me that I made an appointment for pregnancy care before I was even pregnant three months in advance. She said how would I know I would be pregnant. She kept escalating with anger and rage for unknown reason instead of just saying we are not able to help you at this moment. This episode from their Office Manger Amanda Murphy caused me so much distress and anxiety. I am six weeks pregnant at this time. No new or existing customer to the clinic should be treated with such angst, disrespect and Humiliation. UNC is a prestigious medical campus, they need to invest in training people like Amanda Murphy to be polished Professional as well as equip them with better public relations skills. Amanda Murphy is not in control of her emotions and seems to become enraged in matter of seconds. She is unfit to be a manager at UNC clinic.

Great experience!! My midwife, Jenny Cox, I believe was her name. She was amazing an very gentle with a ton of valuable information. I am terrified of needles and getting my blood drawn, but my nurse , Jackie, I think her name was, was very patient and was able to take my mind off the entire thing. I really love the clinic and know I've made the right choice. They even know who my doula is and they've worked with her a bunch of times. Small world :) Thanks Guys Update: I has to shoutout JACQUI again!! She has been my nurse throughout both of my pregnancies and I absolutely adore her! She is super gentle with drawing my blood and giving shots. All very painless. Thanks again!!!! You are great!!
