Hike trail was not a beginners hike! Lol Our space didn't have much shade but a canopy did just fine and Lake was nice. Did some fishing and swimming alongside of lake.

We've gotten reservations only through recreation. gov Usually several mo in advance. There is a local Ranger Stn at Bass Lake you can call.
No fire restriction...just as long as you do it in the pit provided. Woods sold for $8.00 per pack...but there are plenty around you that you probably dont need to buy...
There are no showers at the forks camp ground.There are not any electrical out let's to charge your cell phones.There are pay showers at Millers landing two miles south of The Forks.
