Unplug and soak. Be prepared that raccoons and ground squirrels might take off with your bags by the pools. Wasn’t prepared for steep hill to hike my things up for camping and the ants. The cold plunge, NO WATER, spring is dried up. Hotels kitchen and communal living area great for relaxing. Pleasure to meet new people in lonely places.

If you want a flashback image of what it was like in 1849 Gold Rush California, gold mines that's what you'll see beautiful the very awesome hot springs, are perfect for sore muscles and very relaxing.

I haven’t received such a rude service for many years, I didn’t think that this would happen to me in America in California, the woman at the reception so rudely and incompetently refused me to visit the pool, which ruined my mood for the whole day and I’m still horrified that in America can be such a rude service. I am a regular guest of this complex, I came here today with an injury to my leg muscle, I got injured in training. This place helps to restore my muscle, today I came from San Jose drove 3 hours and 30 minutes to get into the pool and restore my muscle. But the woman refused me, all the time she spoke like a robot to any of my questions, “do you have a reservation? if not, you can't visit the pool." I explained my situation to her that I needed an hour in the pool that I came from afar, drove three hours and thirty minutes, but she continued to say we have no place and answered so rudely, it sounded like an insult, she was so happy that she wouldn’t let me in , her eyes sparkled with happiness, Unfortunately there are such people in America and unfortunately this is not the pride of America. After this incident, I will never come to this place and will never book a room here. Good luck to everyone and I don’t wish anyone that such people as this woman from the reception are born in their lives!

I’ve enjoyed the Wilbur hot springs many times, the hot springs are perfectly relaxing, and the walk up the valley is great. However, yesterday, 1-11-22 the hot springs were so dirty. We found tangles of hair in in the long tubs along with a lot of floaters. The outdoor warm tub was also dirty and had a dim around the edge. The large pool had been cleaned and was refreshingly cold.

It is busy - Wilbur doesn't really have a slow time per-se.
Neither. Fire danger extreme. No open Flames. Don't even pull over in the dry grass and let your engine idle.
