Came here for the eggplant parm after reading some online reviews and was disappointed. The price is very high, $17 for a hero. Although there seemed to be many layers of eggplants, they all kind of melted together and became a mushy mess. There was also very little tomato sauce and cheese. However, people working there were friendly.

I have been on a quest to find the best parm sandwich in the city, and through a recommendation I ended up here one Saturday afternoon. It is now my tradition to come here for lunch on Saturdays. The staff is SO FRIENDLY. Good luck finding a spot like that in the downtown area. The hostess knows me by name and so does the bartender. The food makes it to the table relatively fast whether I’m by myself at the bar or if they’re busy. The drink menu and food menu will give you enough reasons to repeat the visit to make sure you don’t miss out on menu items The garlic knots are amazing, the mozzarella sticks are well seasoned, not greasy and their tomato sauce is just a perfect balance to the other flavors. The fries are always crispy and the parm cheese adds the right amount of flavor to them The Mayo is fresh and made in house. Never a miss! The parm sandwiches are great but my favorite is the meatball parm. The pastas are great. I did not expect this “bar” to make such great pasta. They’re very accommodating in case you want one of the spicy pastas but you want the spice level light. I once brought a group of 8 people, 2 children included and everyone loved the food. The best part is that the prices are very affordable so this makes for a good lunch or dinner if you’re in the area. It’s definitely a go because the environment, food and staff make you feel welcome… and that’s rare in a busy area like this.

Thought pasta was too hard and dry. Maybe due to delivery
