When I first started attending Holy Trinity in Hartford CT, I didn't care much about it. But after going there more than once and meeting the priest, Fr. Charles Jacob. I realized that he's very kind, understanding and is a dog person. I know that he doesn't recite the Saint Michael prayer after mass, but that's ok. Because I do it. And plus he's not harsh or judgemental. He'll welcome anyone regardless of their political views. And I met Sister Linda. Who happens to be a registered parishioner. I remember on July 6th 2020, Fr. Jacob held a funeral for my doctor who died of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was not only devastating for Fr. Jacob, but it was devastating for his family and myself. And I remember during one his homily speeches, he said that the 2020 presidential election will pass and so will the COVID-19 pandemic. And I still continue attending Holy Trinity. However, I've spoken to people who knew Fr. Jacob before I did and they told me that the things he does such as allowing dogs in his church and they said that it's not acceptable and not it's not allowed either. And they said that the things he says during his homilies is the opposite of what Catholic Christianity really teaches. Some people say that I should not have anything to do with him or the parishioners. Just stay away from him. Well who do these people think they are? Telling me where I can or can't go to church. It's not their decision for me. Only I can make the decision of whether to continue attending Holy Trinity or not.

Went there to the monthly Pet food pantry. This is an amazing and wonderful giving back to the community to help those of us with fur babies. With food, treats, toys, even saw some pet clothes. Keep up the great work ❤️
