Amazing department and very friendly and helpful officers! I'm not local and my car got towed and an officer came out and helped my find the location of my car (in the rain) and was incredibly friendly the whole time!

The most useless department ever, filed a case about scam, never got back to me. I provided copies of the all documents and text messages but they didn't take them or even look at them. I thought it'd be like the TV shows but the police guy just took my number and name. And never heard back from them, very disappointing.

I would go to either Cabarrus or Rowan County Magistrate's office whichever County you live in
Also, depending on where you buy your bicycle as well. For example, when I bought my BMX bike from Sun and Ski sports at Concord Mills mall, I was able to register it with the store itself.
I video front and rear in my truck. that recently happened to me. I brought the video to the police who said, and I quote. unless he hit you, we can't do anything. further they would not even look at the video. it's so hard to support the police when they can't support you. very frustrating.
