Hello. Why is this place called the Taylor Cemetery. What is the history please. My fathers mother was Elizabeth Taylor and my great grandmothers was Martha Ann Taylor both hailing from Vermillion area. I'm just curious.

Well the taylors actully bought it from the Bennetts and in one piont in time the cemetary was called like the Bennetts cemetary or the Benidicts Cemetary. The Taylors bought the cemetary off of us and then they renamed it to the Taylor cemetary. I have some family up over there from the lischkes and probably some of the bennetts.
