Just stopped in with my family on a cloudy Friday. So happy I rang the front door, because otherwise we might have missed this gem. The owner was friendly and taught us a bit about peach horticulture. The peaches were sweet and good. Looking forward to making a cobbler with with peck we picked.

You would be advised to check the signs he posts on US Hwy 64 near Hillside Dairy Rd and Buckner Clark Rd. You just show up and get a bag and leave the money in a secure box. If the sign is up, there may be some peaches. The latest variety of peaches there are Red Fury, a very good yellow freestone peach with moderate sweetness and good firmness. But as of August 15th this year they were pretty much all gone. So August 20th is probably a little late for this year. Worth checking out early next year because he has a few different varieties that mature at different times.
