I go here every year to help support Antler Ridge Wildlife Sanctuary who rescue injuried animals throughout our communities and to support Women's Breast Cancer. Whether it's buying handmade items or gifts, raffle tickets, or just enjoying the music and wonderful people who work so hard all year long, this event is an absolute must for us! ❤

What can he done about a young buck with a broken front leg? My daughter saw one in her back yard yesterday. She had called a rehabilitator previously about a different animal and the message on their machine said not to call about deer?

Hi Antler Ridge is not open to the general public. Sorry

We have a fawn on our lawn every day. It was born approximately middle of May. We are sure the mother is dead as it has been alone for over a month. I don't think it will survive the winter on its own. Do you come out and take young Ones like that?

Hi Ed, if you suspect that the fawn has not been eating then yes you should bring the fawn in. We do care for fawn. But be aware that deer mothers do leave their fawns during the day and only visit them few times a day to feed them. Does the fawn look skinny sick? If not then the mother is most likely coming around feeding it otherwise it wouldn't have lived for a month. If you have any questions people call the sanctuary.
