After going to and calling 4 different Marine's for a oil reservoir cap for my Mercury Sport Jet 210 and being told they were on back order for 2 weeks, the very helpful young woman at the front desk at Tim's took my name and the part number down and called me back soon after letting me know they had a used one in stock for a very fair price. I jumped in the truck and drove 3 hours round trip to get it. Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately and taken care of right away by 2 very nice young ladies. Very clean and well organized building. Well worth the 3 hour drive. THANK YOU SO MUCH TIM'S OUTBOARD FOR SAVING THE 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND FOR MY FAMILY AND MYSELF! Had her all ready for the boat parade because of you. THANK YOU!!! PS - Shout out to Northern Sports in Brainerd for referring me to Tim's! I would not have known otherwise.

I have a Johnson 1975, Mod 50ESL75B that has been set up for boat control. I would like retrofit it to operate motor using a tiller bar. Is this possible? and if so, do you have a used tiller bar and what would it cost?

I just did the same conversion on a 25hp Johnson using parts from Tim's Outboard. Mike talked me through the process and had all the parts I needed for a very reasonable price. I'd recommend calling them. Not sure if they check these messages but they always answer the phone promptly. 2186822331

Do you repair as well as selling parts. If so what would it cost to give an estimate to repair a 1986 Mercury classic 50 motor. Gear shaft and prop came out of motor. It has not ran for a few years. .

Mercury 80 horse rev's up in neutral out of water with ears on but when in the water and full throttle and a load on it it bogs and goes about 5 miles an hourwont get going. Fuel issue,clean carbs ???
