We had a blast! Everyone was friendly and the lifeguards were very attentive. The splash pad was perfect for the little ones to enjoy themselves during the ten minute interval for swimming breaks. The Tiki Lounge Bar is not opened so make sure you bring food or eat somewhere else before coming. It cost $6/pp to enter but they have season passes that are affordable.

I love not having to go far for my daughter and her friends to enjoy a water park vibe.Makes great for weekend activities for your kids ,friends, and even visiting family.Wish they had the food court and a game room open would become very popular and convenient.

Convenience: Nothing beats the convenience of having a pool on base when you live on base. Fun: It's great. The slide is fun. There is just enough space that you can hang out without feeling too crowded. For those with littles, the splashpad is awesome. Hours of Operation: Could be better with more proactive hiring of lifeguards. Staff: They're great for thr most part. The manager handles a whole host of problems on a regular basis and she does it with cheery attitude. I've seen a couple lifeguards flirting and not doing their job, but thankfully it didn't last long. Usually they're watchful and on alert. Cost: That's where you lose me. When you breakdown the cost of the pool per day and compare it to the YMCA's military-discounted rate (divide the monthly rate to the days the pool is olen). It costs a bit more to pay for the Fort Gordon Outdoor pool and you don't get a gym. I understand that people can just go to YMCA's pool if they think it's a better deal. However, this is an on-base military pool. Most bases/posts have free community pools. This one doesn't. Most bases try to offer amenities as a discounted rate for their military members because they understand the costs we incur from relocating so often. Unfortunately, this base doesn't. If you want to swim while living on/near Fort Gordon, be prepared to pay as much or more than your civilian neighbors. π€·π»ββοΈ

Also they won't refund or give you a rain check if they go on whether watch. Had an awful experience paying at 12:33 and at 12:34 they went on whether watch. Didn't even leave the lobby . And they stayed on whether watch the rest of the day.

If you're an authorized guest of a military member or their family, you may use the facility while in their company, but otherwise yes it is intended for military families.
$4.00 AWESOME SNACK BAR
As long as you know someone with a military I.D. Card. They can sign you and one other person to go with you. The ratio is, for every Military man/ women, they can sign in you and one other guest youd like to bring. Hope this helps...I know this for a fact.
Can't help...good question..., no info . On their voice gretting.

No
I would agree you most likely would need a valid Military ID to get into the poor. Or someone with an ID can bring you as a guest.
No, not at Fort Gordon. Closest indoor water park is Kroc Center pool in downtown Augusta or Great Wolf Lodge in Charlotte, NC.
