Excellent food, very attentive service. Small menu with unique and unexpected flavors. Everything was superb, from cocktails to dessert.

Food IS, indeed, Good here. Everything from the drinks (Monday blues) to the apps (tomato tarte tatin, gnocchi) to the entrees (snapper and steak) and desserts (lime cream puffs and sticky storghum pudding) were spectacular. Thank you to the dining staff who were friendly and made the occasion feel very special for us. It was the culinary highlight of our trip to Charleston.

Fig was everything is was cracked up to be. We had an amazing meal and the Pump Up the Jam mocktail was ✨amazing✨. Our server, Bobby, was so incredibly knowledgeable about the food, preparation, and made great recommendations. I wish we had a Bobby at every restaurant. HOWEVER, if you aren’t able to make a reservation, I would not recommend sitting at the community table. We thought it would be fine but the other guests talked about some pretty divisive topics and it made our meal very uncomfortable (we just sat silently and ate our food with heads down-we didn’t want to be pulled in). Not the restaurant’s fault at all but be aware that you never know who you’re going to sit with or what they will discuss.

Easily one of the top five best meals I’ve ever had in my entire life.

The menu online is usually correct but they sometimes change things up depending on what is available from the local fishermen and such.
I went there a couple nights ago- walked right in with no wait
Sundays and Mondays. As Google says.
Yes last time I checked there were… I would call them directly I think they open at five
There shouldn’t be the ownership has never changed in all the years they’ve been open
When I went they had sidewalk seating available for walk-in parties of 2 and ended up getting us seated pretty quickly. Everything else you'll prob need a reservation for.
Yes
We can accept reservations 4 weeks in advance. Our phone lines and online reservations open at 10:00am (EST).
Yes, but ask your server first. They will accommodate you if possible
No official dress code, but you will be out of place of you're not trendy / biz casual.

Di, FIG does have gluten free options. Many of the menu items can be adjusted accordingly to accommodate your needs, though I suggest calling ahead, both for reservations and to inform your dietary requirements. I have been there several times and was pleased each time. As an aside, most places don't monitor this section of Google Maps so calling ahead as mentioned is the best way to nail this down.
1 month before the date you want to reserve
No dinner only. Make a reservation and do it early. You can try to sit at the community table too, if there is room.
I was able to click on menu then download and open the dinner menu.
